Soft Robotics Gripper
Mechanical Engineering Master's Project. Designed, modeled and prototyped in 9 weeks.
This robotic gripper was designed to pick up a wide range of objects with varying sizes and shapes. I focused on enabling it to grasp irregular items such as water bottles, scissors, and other everyday objects. Working under a limited budget and timeline, I developed a quick and robust actuation system using fishing wire and spools. I designed and 3D-printed the housing, spools, and molds for the silicone grippers. The final prototype successfully and reliably grasped objects of different shapes and sizes.
Magic The Gathering Deck Box
As a passion project, I designed and 3D-printed a custom Magic: The Gathering deck box. I focused on making sure that the deckbox would fit a standard commander deck, with a window to showcase the commander card. The deckbox locks magnetically, with magnets hidden in the top and bottom parts, inserted during the 3d printed process, ensuring a smooth and secure fit. The sides feature custom lord of the rings inscription, which can be painted if desired. By balancing aesthetics with functionality, I was able to deliver a personalized deck box that combined practical usage with a unique, tailored design.
